Premier is a brand new interactive DVD title that works with both DVD
players and DVD ready computers. French Premier is designed to make
the process of learning the French language both easy and fun for all
the family. It combines more traditional methods of sound clips and
text with animated video clips, vibrant images, and interactive quizzes

Easy to use
All you need to use
French Premier with a television is a DVD player and a remote control.
The disc's rich interactivity is simple to learn, requiring no more
than
a very basic use of the DVD controls.
When used with a
compatible computer, you can control all of the disc's features with
the aid of a mouse. Just point, click, and learn!

Learn about the very
fundamentals of the French language by watching a series of short
presentations. In this section you can learn about:

French in Practice
Discover how to put the lessons
you have watched in to practice. Watch
a short animation about a holiday trip taken from Brighton in the UK,
to Grenoble in the East of France. Learn how to use phrases you will
need on holiday or buisness trips in French speaking countries.

Multiple Choice Tests
Interactive multiple
choice tests take you through the topics you have covered in the
earlier sections. The objective is to listen to a short clip of spoken
French, and with the aid of a picture or animation you will pick the
right answer from a selection of three choices. You will always be
given the meaning of any mistakes you choose.

Audio
Tests
The most
challenging feature in French Premier presents you with a series of
short audio clips spoken in French. You will then have to react within
a time limit to the phrase you are presented with. For example
in the
first test you will hear a short 10 second French clip, and then must
pick its correct translation from a choice of two possibilities within
15 seconds. At the end of the test you will be given a score and might
be shown your mistakes.
