French Premier was designed to give the learner a rich multimedia experience combining images, animation, text and sound into a fun French based environment. Where traditional methods of interactive French study focus on the combined use of audio on CD, and text in a book, learners often feel overwhelmed with new information and find it difficult to concentrate on two source of information at the same time.
French Premier maximizes the benefit you receive from a study session
by allowing you to focus both your eyes and your ears on the television
or computer screen. When used with a DVD player and television the disc
can also provide a source of fun and education for the whole family in
a way which is almost impossible with traditional methods.
This clip shows French Premier running on a computer and illustrates just how simple it really is to use the controls. On a computer the user simply points and clicks, while on a DVD player all you need are the four arrow buttons as well as the enter or OK button on your remote controller.
